2 billion climate refugees in 80 years

The rapidly rising global temperatures are expected to increase climate-driven migration, so-called climate refugees. Today, there are 71 million refugees globally. At 2050 the number of refugees is estimated to rise to at least 200 million, caused by conflicts, drought, extreme rainfall and flooding. By 2100, as many as 2 billion can be forced to flee mainly due to rising sea levels.
